With school just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about lunch! Reusable lunch bags have become a staple in the cafeteria, not only because they are cost-effective, but also there is no waste! One lunch bag we love is the PackIt Freezable Lunch Bag. Its cooling technology is built into the walls of the bag so you’ll never waste money on ice packs again, and it keeps items cool for up to 10 hours!
Here are some other ideas to make Back-to-School lunches a bit easier:
- Pre-pack cold lunches for the week and store them in a separate section of your refrigerator, which will make it easier to gauge if you are running low on lunch foods. You can also pre-bag snacks for kids to grab from or to add to a lunch.
- Save money on plastic bags by purchasing a container with dividers
- Use napkins to write cute and fun messages to your kids. You can also switch it up by throwing in puzzles, jokes, or games!
- Get your child involved in making their own lunch. Start by having them sign up for the free online ChopChop Cooking Club! Almost all ChopChop Cooking Club recipe challenges can be adapted for school lunches.
But all the planning won’t guarantee lunch will get eaten. Here are some delicious lunch-box recipes that will sure to please the pickiest eater:
